My adventures in Dallas and Austin earlier this month were full of connections. So fulfilling to step away from my day to day and meet colleagues in real life. There’s nothing quite like being together.
Photos:
- Showing up for a Win Without Pitching coaching session with Matthew Dandurand at The Star Coworking. Our instructor, Shannyn Lee, is always so poised and professional, and it was a hoot to see the look of surprise on her face when Matt and I appeared together.
- Finally meeting audio producer Rob Upchurch for real!!!! His strategic advice as I’ve been planning a podcast has been instrumental (more to come on that soon).
- Leading a session for my long-time business coach Ed Gandia’s fantastic powerhouse group of business writers and strategists (above)
- To top it off, tacos with Erin Randall, who I met through a Clean Learning course in April, taught by the phenomenal Caitlin Walker.
- The people, courses and work I've mentioned have all taught me things and changed the way I see things—some in big ways, and others by just a small course adjustment. But we know that small adjustments, when measured over time, can have real effects.
- Meeting in person, for me, always seems to cement this kind of learning, helping me believe it in my bones.
